i don't draw faces
(most of the time)
growing up, i never considered myself an artist. art seemed to be a distant world, and i often found myself saying that i "disliked" it. however, deep down, i held a genuine love for artistic expression and secretly wished i were better at what i deemed "traditional" art. things started to turn around when i began to explore my own artistic journey through Procreate, focused on drawing people. struggling with faces became the defining feature of my project, titled, 'i don't draw faces.'
through this project, i realized that art is limitless—a powerful form of self-expression. this understanding prompted me to see that mastering the skill of expressing myself could extend beyond art. this revelation prompted me to explore the integration of creativity into my engineering work, sparking the passion that drives most of my work today.
